Is it Normal to Drink Mojitos with your Professors?

It was so nice sleeping with a heater last night. Especially when I walked out and there was a thick coat of frost on the ground. Cardi prepared us breakfast and then we hit the road. Our first stop was at “Ronnie’s Sex Shop”. The story behind this is a guy named his bar “Ronnie’s Shop”, but to get more people to come in and see what it’s all about he added the word “sex” into it. Sure enough it became one of the hot spots to stop by when you’re in that area. Right next to it, was a cafe called “Roadkill Cafe”. I had a delicious hot chocolate here. We took a group photo on a tractor nearby.. typical Georgians in us, then got back on the bus to head to the Cheetah Breeding Project. Once we arrived there we were seated in this room where we watched a short video about the animals, then we got to go outside and actually see the animals. We saw some critters with giant ears named Brad and Janet (Rocky Horror! Ha) Then some other wild cats named Bilbo and Baggins. The names for all the animals were so funny! We saw our first meerkat of the trip (TIMON!) to complete our Lion King animals. Of course some cheetahs as well. Its so crazy that it is normal to walk these cheetahs on leashes and make them sit to receive their food. It is like they’re a dog or something! Following the Cheetah Breeding Project, some of us played football on the lawn. I learned that I was terrible real fast. After playing a little pigskin, we headed to the Lord Charles (ANOTHER HOTEL! Whoop!). It looked as fancy as it sounds. After settling, we had class for a bit before heading out to dinner at “Casa Del Sol”. We were all so starving we ordered a ton. Pretty much all of us got berry mojitos, which were so good. I ordered fish and chips as my main meal since we were right by the sea. While we were waiting for our dinner, we had a couple rounds of shots in celebration for our last night with the Nomad crew. We had a mojito shot and a couple liquid cocaine shots (name kind of terrified me). The teachers had shots with us too! During dinner we also all got paper plate awards! It was my first time doing paper plate awards- I got most likely to transfer to GA Southern.. P.S. after the expiration date (It was a joke because I kept getting all the P.S. bars that were expired.)
xoxo,
Em
