Alexa, Take me to Iceland
I’ve been stalking Iceland for what feels like years. Back in March 2020, only days stood between me and my dream trip to the ‘Land of Fire and Ice’ when covid took the world by storm and all non-essential travel was banned. The idea of chasing waterfalls (sorry, TLC), glacier trekking, and horseback riding through lava fields, was suddenly replaced with masks and a toilet paper shortage. Ew. But now three years later, we’ve made it to the other side and the waiting game is over—hello, Iceland! So grab your hiking boots and waterproof gear and prepare to get wind-blown with me on this adventure-packed week long, road trip itinerary. Snowmobiling on Vatnajokull Glacier (leaves from hotel parking lot)
Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon (25 min drive)
Diamond Beach (5 min drive, or can walk from lagoon)

Day 6: Blizzards, Planes, and Hot Springs, oh my!
